Welcome to MEZZaTHEME, Mezzanine themes and templates. Beautiful websites that are easy to use.

The goal of MEZZaTHEME is to make getting a great looking Mezzanine website easy.  We do this by providing great looking Mezzanine themes at low prices.

MEZZaTHEME sells themes for Mezzanine, a CMS/blogging platform built using Django.  The templates are a collection of Python files, html, css, javascript and potentially other assets that make up a functioning Mezzanine project.  Our themes include fully functioning html previews that allow you to try a theme before buying.

How does MEZZaTHEME work?

  1. Choose a theme
  2. Click a license purchase button and enter you credit card information
  3. Download your theme from the page you are directed to

The zip file you download will generally contain a fully functioning Mezzanine project.  The theme will usually be a self contained Django app within the project (so you could extract the theme to use it with an existing project).  Themes are mainly made of of templates and static files but there is no restriction so themes could have custom models, views, page processors, etc...  Themes that have models are required to provide south migrations.  Make sure to check the theme's description to see if there are any additional installation considerations.

I have a theme I would like to sell on MEZZaTHEME, what should I do?

Use the contact button above and to the right to get in touch with us.  We are still working out the details of how this will work but we will try to get back to you as soon as possible.  If you have a working demo of your theme please include a link to it when you contact us.

How can I stay up to date?

Follow us on Twitter, @MEZZaTHEME.  We will be posting updates, sales and more.

I bought a theme, how do I install it?

If you are starting with a fresh Mezzanine project installation is as easy as setting up a Django project.  If you are not sure how to do that we do offer paid installation support.  Contact us to inquire.  We reccommend Webfaction hosting because it is easy to get Django (and by extension Mezzanine) working on it.

If you aren't starting with a fresh project you need to extract the theme from the project you downloaded and add it to your Mezzanine project and INSTALLED_APPS settings (take note of any additional installation instructions listed on the theme's page). Depending on how your project is set up and if any customizations are already pressent you may need to do additional integration to get the theme working optimally.
